N.O.V.A.

Karissa won 2nd place for her N.O.V.A. essay.
We're so proud of her!
Nova has been her favorite thing at Freedom.
It is a wonderful program that teaches
the kids good values and skills.

Jacob got his spiritual knot at the Blue and Gold Banquet.
He just turned 9, but he worked hard to complete the
requirements so he could get his spiritual knot
with his new Bear group.

Draper Temple Open House

We loved seeing the temple!

We went on Presidents Day, which turned out
to be a very crowded day.
We were there for at least 3 hours.

Happy Valentines Day!

I don't claim to be a wonderful photographer.
But I just happened to capture
this little critter holding
a 'heart shaped carrot'.
We thought it was perfect for Valentine's Day!

Bryan and I went to our Stake Valentine's Dance!
It was great fun!--Bryan was a great sport :)
They had dance instruction for those of us who don't know
what we're doing. We actually did pretty good at the Cha-cha-cha.

And the food there was incredible!
They had several chocolate fountains and a cheese fountain
and desserts that were divine!

Science Fair 2009

For the science fair, Kelsi compared and tested
different types of diapers to see which were the best.
She compared Wal-mart brand diapers (Parents Choice),
Target brand diapers and Pampers
The conclusion was in fact,
that Wal-mart brand diapers (Parents Choice) were the best.

Karissa decided to do her experiment with gum--
finding the gum with the longest lasting flavor.
And the winner was Wrigleys 5
