HI HO, HI HO....Back to Work I Go!

Today I am venturing the task of tackling my house today...it's suffered the effects of me being out of commission for a week!

There's much to be done, even though Bryan and the kids did help out a lot while I was sick, and I think the kids might have enjoyed having cold cereal every night for dinner :)  Grateful for grandma's help too!

Our dishwasher literally broke for real this time...after being fixed for the umpteenth time by Bryan....it officially bit the dust.  As Bryan would say, "That dishwasher did us proud"...it was amazing how long that dishwasher truly lasted.
So, we picked up a new dishwasher at Sears yesterday (thankful for 12 months no interest payments and a sale price)...it's almost in working order, Bryan just needs to get a part today after work....for set-up, apparently it's set up a little differently then our much older dishwasher - go figure :)

Jacob is very excited about the new dishwasher...as he said, "This is the coolest dishwasher ever" ...he especially likes the utensil holder.

Karissa has Weber Review for marching band tonight...Kelsi has stake standards night tonight...

And lately, Sam has spent countless hours outside with his bike and/or scooter and/or skateboard.

Grateful for Priesthood Blessings

I feel as if I lost a few days....last week I got an inner ear infection, which caused my world to SPIN.  I was 'spinning' for 2 1/2 days...I had to lay down 'cause when I sat up the spinning and nausea would return. (well, actually the nausea was pretty much always there).  By the 3rd day I was able to sit back up...very gradually.  I still felt very drained...so I rested all weekend.  Sunday was pretty hard again...I had to come home from church...all I could do is literally lay in bed for hours.  Later that Sunday afternoon, I asked Bryan to give me a Priesthood blessing.  I knew that if he gave me a blessing, I would be OK.  The moment he placed his hands on my head with anointed oil, I was OK.  And I received a beautiful priesthood blessing, one that I will always hold dear to my heart.  I'm very grateful for the power and blessing of the Priesthood, and for my wonderful husband.

COUNTING BLESSINGS

Life just keeps moving forward :) It's amazing how fast time seems to go lately.

We made our first trip of the school year to the library tonight...Jacob needed a book for school...so I took Jacob and Sam to the library, and on the way home we picked up some color ink for our printer so Karissa can finish a project for school....YEP, SCHOOL IS IN SESSION AGAIN! ONWARD WE GO :) ...and we COUNT OUR BLESSINGS as we go!

Sept. is full of meetings for me...I have yet another faculty meeting tomorrow...we're very GRATEFUL for Grandma's help on days like those! (And GRATEFUL I have an opportunity to earn money.)

I talked with Sam's teacher this afternoon and left very excited about her. I'm GRATEFUL Sam's in her class! :)

We're GRATEFUL to have an appointment for Sam's Evaluation at BYU and just found out that it will cost $100.00 instead of $400.00!! :) We are very GRATEFUL for that blessing!

We have sold ALL but one baby bunny...and we're all GRATEFUL for bunnies at the Taylor house.

Jacob and Kelsi and I had our lessons today...we're GRATEFUL for a terrific teacher! :)

Karissa is as busy as ever with school and Marching Band...we're GRATEFUL she has opportunities to participate!

This morning there were holes in my sheets...and now there are none...I'm GRATEFUL for a talented husband that can fix anything! :)

WE'RE GRATEFUL TO MOVE FORWARD...
...ONE DAY AT A TIME!
