Kelsi turned 10 years old on April 24, 2008.
She's in the double digits! She's also double Sam's age!

Kelsi went to Build a Bear workshop for her birthday.
She chose the cutest bunny and named her Daisy.

Sam's 5th Birthday! April 22, 2008

Sam is so happy to be 5!
This was his very first birthday party with friends.
He was very excited, and certainly felt like 'king' for a day!

Sam picked out the decorations for his cake:

Jacob's Baptism - March 2008

Jacob was baptized on March 29, 2008.
We are so proud of Jacob for choosing to be baptized.
It was a very special day.

Here is the poem she wrote for it:

REMEMBER

You make a promise on this special baptism day,

To remember Jesus Christ and follow in His ways.

To keep His commandments and endure to the end.

Always remember Jesus Christ – He's your greatest Friend!

You are clean! -washed clean this special Baptism Day!

Remember that the greatest gift of God is given to you this way!

Today you begin the strait and narrow path to eternal life,

As you journey on, remember, oh, remember Jesus Christ.

None of us are perfect; when you make a mistake, you can repent

As you have faith and remember Jesus Christ whom God has sent.

Each week remember and renew your Baptismal Covenant

As you think of Jesus and worthily partake of the sacrament.

Remember that you can feel clean and pure every week,

Because of Jesus Christ, whom you daily seek.

Remember Jesus Christ - keep His commandments too,

And He'll grant that His Spirit will always be with you!

It's Great to Be 8!

Jacob is so excited to be 8 years old, and he's
really looking forward to being baptized.

For Jacob's 8th Birthday, we also took him to
"Color Me Mine", where he got to choose
several ceramics to paint. Jacob is very
artistic and he loved it!
He painted a '8' plaque, a frog, and a dinosaur.

Jacob had a family birthday party this year!
We had a blast!
