Sam thinks that Fire Fighters are the coolest thing ever! In his Primary class one week, they wrote thank you letters, and Sam wrote his thank you letter to the Fire Fighters. So, Sam, horse, and I went on a date to the Lehi Fire Station. At first, it was completely vacant and then an ambulance pulled up with 2 firemen! We went over and talked to them and gave them Sam's thank you letter. One of the firemen took Sam, horse, and I on a personal tour of the fire station. We got to see all the parts of the fire truck and fire station, and we learned that once horses used to pull the fire engines, and they had fire dogs to help calm the horses.
Sam got to bring home a fireman hat and 2 fireman badges--one for him and one for horse!
