Welcome Midnight!

Meet Midnight....our newest bunny friend.

I guess I caved...maybe I'm a softy after all...even with bunnies. Karissa begged and begged for her very own bunny. And then Jacob pleaded for one as well. We concluded that Jacob and Karissa could get one together--jointly sharing ownership. They found one they both liked, split the cost, and behold....Midnight, another Mini Rex Rabbit to welcome to our family.

After a few weeks of the euphoria of having her 'very own' bunny, Karissa wised up and realized what we'd been telling her all along was true...'you can enjoy your sister's bunny as much as one of your very own.' So she sold her half of Midnight to Jacob, and now it's Jacob's very own bunny.

And Jacob loves his bunny, and takes very good care of it.

Kelsi's teaching Jacob everything she knows about bunnies.

Midnight has her own personality...actually we're not sure
if it's a her or him yet...yes, I know, bunny babies may appear,
confirming my fears and Kelsi's greatest dream.

Don't let this sleepy bunny fool you, Midnight is quick...
very fast...hard to catch, even for Kelsi.

But the kids think Oreo is happy to have a new friend, Midnight...
...they are the best buddies.
