God Knows Me
I am a child of God, and He knows my
heart so well.
He knows me better than I know myself,
to great avail.
God answers my prayers before I even
utter a word,
Answered in countless ways, with great
blessings from the Lord...
...Blessings that I didn't even know I
needed,
With constant love, guidance, and hope
I'm greeted.
God knows my heart, my weaknesses, my
strengths,
And He uses it all to bless me at great
length.
I have faith that all things happen for
a reason.
Trials and blessings come to me at the
right season.
I live by faith, knowing that God has a
plan for my life,
My part is to have faith, continually
doing my best, with great strive.
So many faults I have, so many mistakes
I make.
But God also has a plan for that, for
my sake:
He sent the Savior Jesus Christ, His
Only Begotten Son,
To succor His people so that as I have
faith and repent, I may come...
To live with God, my Father, again, and
bask in his perfect love,
For I am a child of God and I know He's
always blessing me from above.”
